VITEEE 2019 Introduction
VITEEE is a national level entrance examination to fetch admissions into various undergraduate programs established by the Vellore Institute of Technology in four cities throughout India that are Vellore, Chennai, Amravati and Bhopal. Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is labelled among top 10 engineering institutes in India. This institute has created an identity of its own in offering quality engineering education in different disciplines in the past few years.
It was established under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956, and was founded in 1984 as a self-financing institution called the Vellore Engineering College. The Union Ministry of Human Resources Development conferred University status on Vellore Engineering College in 2001.
VITEEE 2019 Important Dates

VITEEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria
VITEEE 2019 is a National level Common Entrance Exam and Eligible candidates can select the courses offered at VIT Vellore Campus, Chennai Campus, VIT-Bhopal and VIT-AP. Interested candidates can apply for the exam online through VITEEE registration 2019 which started on 1st November 2018. Candidates must fulfil the eligibility norms in order to write the exam. Refer below for the detailed VITEEE 2019 Eligibility criteria.
- Candidates appearing for the VITEEE 2019 should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2019, in any one of the following qualifying examinations:
- The final examination of the 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by - State Board, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi), The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE, New Delhi).
- The average marks obtained in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM/PCB) in +2 (or its equivalent) put together should be 50% for the following categories:
- For candidates belonging to SC/ST Fill in the required proforma and have it attested by a competent authority.
- For candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. Fill in the CERTIFICATE TO PROVE NATIVITY.

VITEEE 2019 Application Forms

VITEEE 2019 Time Table
VITEEE 2019 Examination will be held from 10th April 2019 to 21st April 2019. Exam will be held in 3 sessions each day with a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. More details on Timetable shall be updated soon

Exam Centres of VITEEE 2019
Candidates must select their preferred test centres of VITEEE 2019 while the online application is filled. The exam centres for VITEEE 2019 is located in 33 states in various cities and also abroad (3 exam centres) Candidates must ensure that they select the correct test city code while they are booking test slots as no changes or modifications will be entertained later.

VITEEE 2019 Admit Card
VITEEE 2019 e-Admit card will be generated once once the candidate has booked his/her schedule through the Online Test Booking System. The admit card of VITEEE 2019 will indicate the e-Admit card number, photograph of the student, address of the test center, test date and time selected by the candidate.
- The e-Admit card will be auto-generated for only those candidates who book a slot using the Online Test Booking system before the last date.
- Slots will be generated based on the information given on the application form and availability of the slot for those who have not booked the slots.
- The e-Admit card will be made available for candidates in www.vit.ac.in. Candidate should provide the application form number and Online Test Booking password to download the e-Admit card.

VITEEE 2019 Exam Pattern
VITEEE 2019 exam is a computer-based test (online test) conducted by VIT University. Candidates who want to pursue studies in VIT University must take up VITEEE and ensure they secure the required cutoff in order to gain admission.
Selection of VITEEE question paper
Candidates can either select PCME/PCBE depending on their choice of studies.
PCME - Candidates appearing in PCME (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/English) is eligible for all the B.Tech. Degree programmes, as per the VITEEE ranking.

VITEEE 2019 Syllabus
The syllabus of VITEEE 2019 consists of those important concepts that a candidate needs to focus on for effective preparation and to ace the exam. Below given is the syllabus of VITEEE 2019 which the candidate can go through.
|1.||Laws of Motion &Work, Energy and Power||
Law of conservation of linear momentum and its applications. Static and kinetic friction - laws of friction - rolling friction - lubrication.
Work done by a constant force and a variable force; kinetic energy - work-energy theorem - power.
Conservative forces: conservation of mechanical energy (kinetic and potential energies) - non-conservative forces: motion in a vertical circle - elastic and inelastic collisions in one and two dimensions.
|2.||Properties of Matter||
Elastic behaviour - Stress-strain relationship - Hooke's law - Young's modulus - bulk modulus - shear modulus of rigidity - Poisson's ratio - elastic energy. Viscosity - Stokes'law - terminal velocity - streamline and turbulent flow - critical velocity. Bernoulli's theorem and its applications.

VITEEE 2019 Results
Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) will release the results of 2019 VITEEE exam in the last week of April (tentatively). Candidates need to make use of the application number provided to them and their date of birth to fill in the details asked on the screen to access the result document. The University will prepare Merit list based on the ranks. Cut off will be decided after which eligible candidates can participate in counselling process. Students who qualify the exam will also be sent a mail consisting of their results. Qualifying candidates of VITEEE 2019 can get admissions into VIT University campuses at Chennai, Vellore, Bhopal and Amaravati.

VITEEE 2019 cut off
VITEEE cut off 2019 will determine the eligibility of candidates for further process such counselling and seat allotment. Cut off is the closing rank or the minimum rank required. It is to be noted that there is no official cutoff declared by VIT, but closing rank will be considered for admission purposes. Result for VITEEE 2019 will be declared at the end of April 2019 after which the cut off will be decided.
Candidate’s score in VITEEE 2019 will be used to calculate their individual percentile and the percentile will be used in preparing the final VITEEE 2019 merit list. All candidates who qualify the exam and clear the cut off will be named in VITEEE 2019 Merit List. Candidates mentioned in merit list will further attend the VITEEE 2019 counselling.

VITEEE is an online entrance exam conducted by VIT for B.Tech programmes, all admissions are based on VITEEE ranking and the students can select the campus of their choice based on the availability during counselling.

VITEEE 2019 Counselling
Candidates who have been shortlisted based on the entrance examination ranks will be called for VITEEE 2019 counselling. Candidates must ensure they possess all the required documents such as e-Admit card at the time of counselling. A Biometric examination will be carried out during counselling and admission process.
Advance Payment: The selected candidates will have to submit a DD for ` 50,000 /- in favour of 'Vellore Institute of Technology', payable at Vellore, on the confirmation of seat and acceptance of branch allotted. This includes `11,800/- towards counselling processing fee. Counselling processing fee is NON-REFUNDABLE, but will be adjusted in the tuition fees once the candidate joins the Institute

VITEEE 2019 Seat Allotment
VITEEE 2019 seat allotment is based on the rank secured in VITEEE examination 2019. In the VIT counselling centre, candidates can find out the availability of seats for different branches in different participating institutes. Which will help them to make an appropriate choice related to courses and colleges.
The admission is done only after the completion of VITEEE counselling and seat allotment procedure and it will be purely based on the marks secured in the VITEEE-2019, conducted by VIT.
