The results of NTA NEET 2019 has been scheduled to release on 5th June 2019. Prior to the declaration of NEET results, the display of OMR sheets and release of answer keys will be carried out by NTA on its website. The exam was held in offline mode on 5th May 2019 is the largest examination to be conducted across India. About 15.19 lakh students registered for the exam and 14,10,754 students appeared for the exam.

Nalin Khandelwal from Rajasthan has secured AIR 1 securing 701 marks.

Candidates who clear this examination can get admissions into Dental, Medical and AYUSH colleges across the country.

The result of the NEET (UG) - 2019 may be utilized by other entities of Central/State Governments for admission purpose in accordance with their rules.

NEET cutoff for general category candidates is also released and it is 701 – 134, i.e., equivalent 50th percentile.

NEET Counselling is expected to start in 2nd week of June 2019. All India Quota Counselling will be conducted by MCC and State counselling will be conducted by respective states. A separate merit list will be released by both – MCC and the individual states for NEET seat allotment.

Result Declaration in NEET 2019

  • NTA will host the result on its website after evaluating the Answer Sheets. The candidates can download their Result sheets. A merit list will also be prepared by NTA as per the directives of DGHS, MCI and DCI. which forms the basis for NEET Counselling and Seat allotment. Qualified candidates will be called for counselling based on this list.
  • No category wise result sheet will be prepared. As soon as the result is ready.
  • All Candidates appearing in NEET (UG) - 2019 must regularly check updates on website of NTA, MoH & FW, Medical Counselling Committee and Participating States/Universities/Institutions till conclusion of final round of Counselling.

NEET-UG-2019 Result will be applicable for admissions to all medical colleges of India except for AIIMS and JIPMER, which will conduct their own entrance exams.

How to Check NEET Result 2019?

Candidates can check their NEET 2019 result and download NEET scorecards and the step-wise procedure is mentioned below:

Step 1 : Visit the official website of NEET.

Step 2 :Click on 'NEET Results' (

Step 3 :Enter NEET 2019 Roll Number,Date of Birth and Security Pin in the given fields.Click on Submit

Step 4 : The NEET 2019 result comprising the score card of NEET will be displayed.

Step 5 : Download the result of NEET 2019 by clicking on ‘Print’ button and then save it.

Re-checking/re-evaluation of answer sheets

There is No provision for re-checking/re-evaluation of the answer sheets. This is because of the following reasons:

  • The candidates are given an opportunity to make the representation on the OMR gradation of their OMR sheets and also given an opportunity to challenge the answer key in case of any doubt.
  • The OMRs are machine gradable which are being evaluated through specific software impartial to all.

No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

NEET Merit List 2019

The National Testing Agency will prepare an All India Merit List of successful candidates of NEET (UG) – 2019 on the basis of the eligibility criteria provided by the Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India.

  • All India merit list will be prepared based on the NEET 2019 result.
  • In the merit list, candidates who appeared in NEET 2019 entrance exam will be listed in the order of their NEET All India Rank.
  • Along with the All India Merit List, All India Quota(AIQ) merit list will also be prepared.
  • Candidates who qualify in NEET exam and opt for AIQ (All India Quota) will be included in NEET AIQ (All India Quota) merit list.
  • MCC will conduct NEET AIQ (All India Quota) Counselling 2019 based on AIQ (All India Quota) merit list.
  • For admissions through state counselling, respective state counselling authorities will prepare their separate merit list based on NEET Result.

Tie Breaker in NEET 2019

In case two or more candidates have secured the same marks in NEET 2019, Tiebreaker (inter-se-merit) of such candidates will be determined in order of preference as mentioned below:

  • Higher marks secured in Biology in NEET will be preferred.
  • If the tie persists, candidate obtaining higher marks in Chemistry in NEET will be preferred
  • If the tie persists, candidate with a smaller number of wrong answers will be taken into consideration.
  • If the tie persists, candidate older in age will be preferred for merit ranking.

How Download NEET 2019 AIQ (All India Quota) Rank Letter/Result sheet ?

  • The AIQ (All India Quota) rank letter of NEET 2019 will be available in online mode on the same day as result declaration.
  • Candidates can download NEET 2019 AIQ (All India Quota) Rank letter here (Link will be updated soon).
  • NTA releases separate rank letters for admission to 15% AIQ (All India Quota) seats.
  • Only those candidates who score minimum qualifying marks and opt for AIQ (All India Quota) admissions in NEET 2019 will be able to download NEET AIQ (All India Quota) rank letters 2019.
  • Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the counselling for AIQ (All India Quota) based on AIQ (All India Quota) rank provided in NEET AIQ (All India Quota) rank letter 2019.

NEET 2019 Result Highlights

  • NEET 2019 Results will be declared on 5th June 2019 in Online mode.
  • The result of NEET 2019 will contain information important for NEET 2019 qualification like All India Rank (AIR), candidate’s NEET score, qualifying status and NEET overall cut-off score.
