Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test in short MHT-CET is a State level Common Entrance Test conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. It is organised by the Directorate of Technical Education. The degree courses of the following streams are mainly accounted for the entrance exam in Engineering, Pharmacy. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is conducted by DTE in online (CBT) mode for the candidates to take admission in various colleges in Maharashtra in their B.Tech, B.Pharm, LLB, MBA, etc, programmes. The eligibility criteria is also laid down by the authorities which determines if a candidate is eligible to attebd the examination or not.
The Government of Maharashtra has established "ADMISSIONS REGULATING AUTHORITY AND STATE COMMON ENTRANCE TEST CELL" as per the provisions of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions& Fees) Act. 2015.
The Commissioner of State CET Cell, has been designated as Competent Authority for conducting MHTCET 2019 and selection of candidates for admission to 4 Year Duration Full Time Under Graduate Degree courses in Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy and 5 Year Duration Full Time Under Graduate Degree course in Pharm D for the academic year 2019-20.
Every year, over 4 lakh candidates take part in MHT CET. Earlier the test scores were also used for admissions to Medical degree courses. The test is conducted in offline mode. After the Supreme Court of India hammered the deduction for NEET for Medical colleges; MHT-CET is scrapped for medical colleges
MHT CET 2019 Important Dates
MHT CET 2019 offers admission into Engineering and Allied Health Sciences courses in the Government aided and private universities/institutions all throughout Maharashtra. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra has announced that MHT CET 2019 will be held in Computer Based Mode (CBT) only.

MHT CET 2019 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria includes requirements related to domicile, age, educational qualification, qualifying exam and the marks scored in it. For admissions into the participating institutes of the state level engineering entrance exam through MHT CET cell all candidates should fulfill the MHT CET eligibility criteria 2019.

MHT CET 2019 Application Form
Application form for MHT CET 2019 will is made available online from 1st January 2019. Application form has to be filled by candidates by providing their personal details, education details and all the details required by the exam conducting board.

MHT CET 2019 Time Table
The MHT CET 2019 is a state level entrance examination conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell of Government of Maharashtra. In 2019 the exam is scheduled tentatively from 2nd - 13th May 2019 as announced by the conducting body. The exam will consist of 3 Papers and the duration of exam will be 90 minutes for each paper.

MHT CET 2019 Admit Card
Admit cards will be available to download from first week of April tentatively. The Admit card can be accessed by entering Application Number, Password and a Security Key. Candidates need to check if all the details mentioned in the Hall ticket is correct. If any mistake is found, it should be reported to concerned authorities.Admit card can be downloaded on official website from 25/04/2019 – 02/05/2019.

MHT CET 2019 Exam Pattern
MHT CET examination will consist of three papers – Paper I – PCM, Paper II – PCB, Paper III – PCMB. and the questions will be based on syllabus of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. There will be no Negative marking. The examination will be conducted in the Online mode for the first time.

MHT CET 2019 Exam centre
Candidates will be allotted exam centre based on where the candidate has qualified their 10+2(or equivalent) And for those candidates who had their qualifying exam outside Maharashtra can choose the exam centre during registration. MHT CET examination will be held in all districts of Maharashtra and each district will have a divisional authority.

MHT CET 2019 Results
MHT CET Results will be declared online in the month of June 2019. The results will be released in the form of Scorecards and candidates can access them using their credentials – Hall ticket number.

MHT CET 2019 Cut off
MHT CET Cutoff for 2019 will be released after the declaration of MHT CET result. And the candidates who attain the minimum required cutoff will be eligible to attend the MHT CET Counselling process.

MHT CET 2019 Participating Institutions/Colleges
The MHT CET participating colleges are located in six regions of Maharashtra – Amravati, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nasik and Pune. Candidates can choose any of the participating colleges provided they are eligible for admission and there is a seat available.

MHT CET 2019 Reservation
As per Maharashtra government, reserved categories candidates are granted a certain number of seats, provided they are residents of Maharashtra. The reservation policy is decided by DTE Maharshtra which obeys the State government policy.

MHT CET 2019 Seat Allotment
Seat allotment for MHT CET 2019 commence as soon as Counselling is done. Eligible candidates will be allotted their preferred seat in the first round of seat allotment. There are 3 rounds in total. Candidates who were not allotted seats in the first round can try in the second round and so on.
Seat allotment will be made based on the Merit of the candidate, the candidate’s choice of college and availability of seat.
Candidates who have been allotted seats must report to that institutes and exercise either of the options ( freeze, float or slide)
