The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations was established in 1983 as a separate set up for the conduct of Entrance Examinations for admission to Professional Courses in the State. The Higher Education Department in the Secretariat is functioning as the administrative department of the Commisionerate of Entrance Examinations. The Commissionerate has been conducting thirteen Entrance Examinations, both for Undergraduate and Post Graduate Professional Courses. And of these examinations conducted in a time bound manner and catering to the needs of the aspirants of Professional Courses, the Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical Entrance Examinations (KEAM) is the major one in which near about one lakh seventy thousand candidates participate every year.

KEAM, is an entrance examination series for admissions to various professional degree courses in the state of Kerala, India. Kerala Govt recently started a programme for KEAM Coaching named as PEECS.

In addition to the conduct of Entrance Examinations, the Commissionerate is making allotments to 5 Courses, KEAM, LLB 3 Year, LLB 5 Year, LLM and P G Medical Courses. The allotments to rest of the courses are made by the authorities concerned. The Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) followed in the admission to Medical Engineering and Agricultural Courses is an Online procedure opened up to the candidate through a candidate friendly procedure of option exercise, subsequent allotment and fee remittance at the designated Bank.

KEAM 2019 Important Dates

KEAM 2019 Eligibility Criteria

KEAM follows a standard eligibility criteria which must be fulfilled by the candidates in order to take up the exam. The Eligibility criteria for KEAM include – Nativity, Nationality, Qualifying marks, Qualifying exam and Age.

Standard Eligibility criteria for KEAM 2019

Nativity: Indian citizens only are eligible and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) will also be treated equal with Indian citizens for the limited purpose of admission but they are ineligible for any kind of reservation.

Candidates seeking admission to Professional courses are categorised as

  1. Keralite
  2. Non-Keralite Category I (NK I)
  3. Non-Keralite Category II (NK II).

KEAM 2019 Admit Card

The Admit Card for KEAM 2019 will be available in online mode from April 10th onwards. Candidates can visit the official website and enter Application number and Password to download the admit card.

Steps to download admit card

  • Go to the Official website of KEAM 2019.
  • Go to login page.
  • Enter your Application Number and Password of KEAM 2019.
  • Now, click on the link to download the admit card.
  • Enter Application number and Date of Birth provided in the application form in order to download the admit card.
  • And then take a printout of the admit card.

KEAM 2019 Exam Pattern

Exam pattern for KEAM 2019 include Negative marking, number of question, mode of exam, total marks and type of questions. KEAM exam consists of Paper I and Paper II. Exam will be conducted in Offline mode for 2 days i.e., 23rd and 24th April 2019.

KEAM 2019 Exam centre

KEAM Exam centres for KEAM 2019 has been allocated to 18 cities which includes Mumbai and Delhi exam centres too. Even Dubai has an exam centre reserved for KEAM exam. KEAM 2019 Results

KEAM Result for the year 2019 will be released on 25th May 2019 tentatively. Candiates can check their respective results on the official website. The result will include the marks scored by candidates in the exam. A Merit list will be made considering the marks scored by candidates in KEAM and Qualifying exam (Class XII).

  2. Click on “KEAM 2019” candidate portal.
  3. Enter Application number and Password
  4. Click on the Submit

KEAM 2019 Cut off

KEAM Cut off 2019 is nothing but the minimum marks that has to be scored by the candidates in order to participate in the counselling process as well as the subsequent admission process. Cut off marks for general category is 50% and 40% for SEBC/ SC/ ST category.

KEAM 2019 Reservation criteria

CEE follows reservation policy based on Kerala Government guidelines and policies according to which there are certain reservation categories and candidates can claim reservation if they belong to such categories. And to claim such reservation applicants must submit proper documents and certificates in prescribed format without fail.
