KCET Important Dates 2019

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET), a State level examination conducted by the State of Karnataka to provide admissions to UG level courses in the state. KEA released official notification for KCET examination for the current year 2019. KCET will be conducted from 23rd to 25th April 2019. Candidates are advised to keep a track of the important dates so as to not miss out on an important event. Important events for KCET 2019 include Application registration date (starts on 1st Feb 2019), release of Admit card, exam dates, result date, counselling, etc. KEA organizes exam every year and the calendar of events for KCET 2019 is as follows:

KCET Exam Date Revised

Due to Lokasabha Elections 2019 by Election Commission of India on 10/03/2019, Government of Karnataka has directed KEA to conduct the CET-2019 on 29/04/2019 and 30/04/2019 and the Kannada Language test on 01/05/2019 for the year 2019 as per the following revised time table.

Note
  1. KCET 2019 is an Offline (pen and paper) exam conducted for admissions to Engineering, AYUSH, Farm Science, B.Pharm courses.
  2. KCET for Medical course has been discontinued as NEET has taken over all the medical exams in India.

Note
  1. Final print out of the online application form should be submitted along with the special category certificates.
  2. The candidates claiming eligibility under NCC and SPORTS should also produce the study certificate issued by the head of the educational institution for having studied and passed qualifying examination in the State of Karnataka, when they come for submission of documents.
  3. Candidates claiming the benefit under various Special categories should produce the relevant original Special category certificates along with TWO sets of photocopies COMPULSORILY as per the above schedule, to KEA IN PERSON ONLY DURING OFFICE HOURS. They should also produce three photocopies of their 'CET 2019' Admission Ticket. Candidates should not send their original special category documents / certificates through Post OR any other private arrangement.
