JEE Main Exam Pattern 2019

JEE Main 2020 exam will be conducted twice – in January and April and there have been few changes for the current year with regard to exam pattern. Earlier the exam was conducted 2 papers -Paper 1 and Paper 2 but now there are 3 papers. It is the first time a separate exam is going to be organised for B.Planning course. Thus, JEE Main 2020 exam will be conducted for three papers; Paper 1 for B.Tech/ B.E., Paper 2 for B.Arch and Paper 3 for B.Planning. Candidates have a choice to appear for any one, or two, or all three papers, as per their choice. Also, the candidate can appear for the exam in the month of January or April or both. If a candidate has attempted twice then best of the two results will be considered. Also, JEE Main exam is considered as an eligibility test for JEE Advanced exam.

Examination will be conducted between 6th January 2020 and 11th January 2020.

Number of Shifts and Timing of Examination – 2 shifts per day (Timings - First Shift : 09.30 AM to 12.30 PM Second Shift : 02.30 PM to 05.30 PM)
