JEE Main Admit Card 2019

JEE Main April 2019 Admit Card/Hall Ticket is available to download from 20th March 2019. Eligible candidates who have applied for JEE Main 2019 examination can download admit card on - www.jeemain.nic.in. Candidates need to enter his details such as application number and password to access their respective admit cards.

The JEE Main 2019 examination will be conducted twice (January and April) in 2019. Exam for JEE Main has been successfully completed for 1st Attempt in January and exam for 2nd Attempt will be conducted on 8th, 9th and 12th April for Paper I and on 7th April for Paper II.

JEE Main 2019 Key Points

  • JEE Main 2019 admit card will be issued by National Testing Agency (NTA) only to those candidates who are eligible, if any discrepancies are found in the application form then admit card will not be issued.
  • Candidates must verify the details on admit card that is, name, date of birth, category, gender, exam centre, examination date, signature, application number etc. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the examination without JEE Main 2019 admit card.

  2. Click on Download JEE Main April 2019 Admit Card
  3. You will be redirected to new page. Select one of two options –
  4. Enter Application number/Password and the security pin in the provided space.
  5. Click on Login to download the admit card

Things that must be carried along with JEE Main Admit card

Along with the original valid JEE Main Admit card/Hall ticket it is important to carry certain necessary things which if forgotten shall result in no entry inside the exam hall, so please make sure you have everything covered before setting out to write the exam. The necessary to be carried along with Admit card are as follows:

  • One Passport size photo which is same as the one uploaded with the JEE Main online application form
  • A valid ID proof in Original. The ID can be - PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ E- Aadhaar/ etc.
  • Note

    Note: ID Cards issued by Schools/ Colleges/ Universities/ Coaching Centres, AADHAR enrollment receipt without AADHAR NUMBER and PHOTOCOPIES OR Images Stored in mobile phones etc will NOT be accepted

  • PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category
  • Candidates who are attempting Paper II can carry Geometry Box Set, Pencils, Erasers and Colour Pencils or Crayons.

JEE Main Applicants for April exam who are attempting the examination in the cities abroad are advised to report to their allocated exam centre well in advance as per Indian Standard Time (IST).

Retrieve password/Application Number

In case the candidate has forgotten his/her password/application number then follow the below steps to recover it:

  • Open JEE Main admit card page
  • Click on "Download Admit Card of JEE Main 2018"
  • Click on "I cant access my account"
  • Select either of the below options depending on what to retrieve
    1. "Forgot my Password"
    2. "Forgot my Application number"
  • Following recovery options will be displayed and candidates can select any one and click on "Continue"
    1. Using the security question and answer selected while filling the JEE Main 2019 Application Form.
    2. Using a Verification text message (SMS) on the registered mobile number.
    3. Using Reset link on the registered Email.

General instructions for Online exam

  • Candidates can practice mock test which is available on JEE Main website to familiarize with the look and feel of online exam.
  • The test will start exactly at the time mentioned in the Admit card and an announcement to this effect will be made by the invigilator.
  • The test will be of 3 hrs. duration and in the shifts mentioned in the admit card.
  • Students will not be allowed inside the exam hall without the admit card and ID Proof.
  • Stationery items like Ballpoint pen, paper for the offline examination will be provided at the centre only.

As the JEE Main examination is soon approaching, the exam conducting authority, NTA has released advisories for the candidates giving out important instructions for the exam, highlighting the unacceptable practice and instructions on barred items.

Use of Calculator and Communication Aids

  • Use of electronic devices like mobile phone, calculator etc. is NOT PERMITTED in JEE (Main) - 2019.
  • Candidates are NOT allowed to carry Instrument/Geometry/Pencil box, Handbag, Purse, Any kind of Paper/ Stationery/Textual material (printed or written material),
  • Eatables and Water (loose or packed), Mobile Phone/Ear Phone/Microphone/Pager, Calculator, Docu Pen, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Camera, Tape Recorder, Electronic Watches with facilities of calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets etc. in the examination Room/ Hall.
  • Diabetic students will be allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/ orange) and transparent water bottle to the examination hall. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed foods like chocolate/candy/sandwich etc.
  • Candidates must bring their own pencils, own geometry box set, erasers, colour pencils and crayons for the Aptitude Test of Paper-2.
